  A moderate Republican coworker told me yesterday that Covid isn’t dangerous the numbers are due to comorbidity like car crashes. I sent him three articles (one by Fox) explaining why that’s misconstruing the facts. 210,000 people have died in the United States from Corona virus in 7 months. at 7 months with extreme efforts to try to curtail the spread of the virus. That's a hell of a lot more than we do for the flu and it's a hell of a lot more than die from the flu in an entire year.   Yep. I had someone argue with me that Trump should get credit for all the people who have recovered from COVID. I’m all for fair is fair, but they’ve completely missed the point that a good amount of the initial infections could have been prevented altogether if Trump never pushed his “hoax” agenda.   The survival rate was never the issue with Covid to begin with. The issues with Covid have been no effective medical preventions or treatments, an incubation period that makes it very hard to track and isolate, and the question marks that are its long-term impacts on bodily health.
