My father wanted his ashes scattered at Hurricane Ridge, in Alaska. We scattered 2/3rds of them there, and then 1/3 at Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite (you can get a permit from the Park Service to scatter remains, as long as you follow some guidelines). If even a single square foot of land gets wasted on any part of my dead body then so help me God I'm coming back and haunting the shit out of everyone. I don’t so much care about my ashes, if they’re spread in some beautiful place or not doesn’t matter.

Just got back from spending almost 800eur at Costco Paris today. Most of the stuff was products for our home (paper towels, T.P., laundry/dishwashing detergent, etc.). In the city, we would get 1/2 the amount of what we get at Costco for 2-3x the price. Seriously.  But if I don't worry about being a cliche, my mom. She raised me alone after escaping her toxic relationship with my father, and growing up in Idaho with my suite of mental health issues, I could've been on the fast track to a lethal "exorcism" or something comparable. But she did her damnedest to get me the help I needed. I had a music teacher in elementary school that wasn't really popular with a lot of kids because she was a little on the strict side. However if you showed a legitimate interest in music and didn't disrupt the class, it was pretty easy to stay on her good side. She had a kind heart and if she saw a student was struggling and actually trying, she went out of her way to give them encouragement.

In canada the hotdog was $2.50 CAD. Then a visiting American tourist noticed and wrote a letter to complain. Now our hotdog is $1.50 CAD which is about 90 cents USD. So we get it even cheaper. Its the best thing America has ever done for us . I worked international import for a major retail chain that branched out into grocery/produce. They forecast losses on these shipments even if they sold 100% (not factoring in spoilage or damaged goods).
