Been trying to get my gal to get into this routine, at least once a week, but she just doesn’t seem keen on it. We’ve been having our struggles, and simple matters like this, I believe, would be cathartic. This post, along with many of the replies, have been encouraging - I plan on sharing the thread with her once our days begin. This question is exactly what popped into my head when I read this. She said they have 2 young girls, but they must not actually be young if they leave them home alone. My husband and I would love to walk together but have another 7 years before we would be able to leave the kids home alone. And for anyone who suggested taking the kids with you while you walk, its not a terrible idea however it DEFINITELY would not have the same therapeutic effect on your marriage.

Just got back from spending almost 800eur at Costco Paris today. Most of the stuff was products for our home (paper towels, T.P., laundry/dishwashing detergent, etc.). In the city, we would get 1/2 the amount of what we get at Costco for 2-3x the price. Seriously. We save some good money because we only make a trip like once a year, but everything we buy lasts us for the year too, and we never have to worry about buying soap, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, etc. Buy it:  Black Cat Witch Never Underestimate An Old Lady Who Has Magic Halloween Shirt

 But if I don't worry about being a cliche, my mom. She raised me alone after escaping her toxic relationship with my father, and growing up in Idaho with my suite of mental health issues, I could've been on the fast track to a lethal "exorcism" or something comparable. But she did her damnedest to get me the help I needed. I had a music teacher in elementary school that wasn't really popular with a lot of kids because she was a little on the strict side. However if you showed a legitimate interest in music and didn't disrupt the class, it was pretty easy to stay on her good side. She had a kind heart and if she saw a student was struggling and actually trying, she went out of her way to give them encouragement.

In canada the hotdog was $2.50 CAD. Then a visiting American tourist noticed and wrote a letter to complain. Now our hotdog is $1.50 CAD which is about 90 cents USD. So we get it even cheaper. Its the best thing America has ever done for us . I worked international import for a major retail chain that branched out into grocery/produce. They forecast losses on these shipments even if they sold 100% (not factoring in spoilage or damaged goods).
